Flight disruptions
Sometimes, travel plans get whisked away despite the best intentions. Indeed, weather is the most common culprit when it comes to flight disruptions. The silver lining: we’ve put together an overview of what to expect when the weather rains on your parade.
Delays
• You’ll get a text and an email if your flight’s delayed.
• The message will tell you the status of your flight. We’ll also let you know when to show up at the airport.
• When we say "next info at..." it doesn’t necessarily mean you must go to the airport right away. It means we’re monitoring conditions and will later confirm departure time.
• When departure is confirmed, we’ll text you and email you.
• Make sure you enter the right phone number and email address when you book, so we can contact you.
Cancel a booking
• If a new departure time doesn’t work for you, you can cancel your booking.
• Call +354 570 3030 to cancel.
• It’s enough to cancel before planned take-off.
• More information on our call centre can be found here.
Your flight was cancelled
• If your flight is cancelled, we can’t guarantee you the same seat on the next flight, or space on the next available flight.
• We’ll rebook you into the next available seat.
• We’ll add aircraft as needed to help stranded passengers
Passenger Rights
• You might be entitled to compensation as per Law on Passenger Rights.
• If you think you’re entitled to compensation, please fill out the form below
• We kindly ask you to never insert your credit card information to this form.
• But keep in mind that airlines are never liable for weather-related disruptions. You might be entitled to service elements such as accommodation, food and transport to and from the airport.
